Mannington Public Library has selected the Mannington Middle School to kick off our three month Library Art Exhibit. Mr. Frank Puskas and his art students will display their works of art at the library March 4-16.
Giorgio de Chirico, the late Greek-Italian painter and set designer, once said:
“To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.”
Mannington Public Library is inviting Mannington Middle’s Sixth Grade Class Feb 23-Mar 22 to our Wii Bowling Challenge. Students from each homeroom will combine Wii bowling scores to win a pizza party on the library.
Congratulations to Mrs. Hearn’s fifth grade class on winning the last Wii Bowling Challenge.
Mannington Public Library is celebrating Blackshere’s Kindergarten Class the whole month of March. Every time a kindergarten student visits the library this month we will add a designated pizza topping to our bulletin board. The Homeroom with the most toppings on our “Pizza Pie” at the end of the month will win a pizza party. We will also have something special for kindergarten students each week when checking out library materials.
