Teen Summer Reading Kick-off Party
Summer reading is killer! To kick off our Beneath the Surface Teen Summer Reading Program, Marion County Public Library is hosting a Zombie Party. The party will feature gory games, gruesome grub, and a chance for teens to Zombify themselves.
Toil in the Soil
“Toil in the Soil” with Miss Melissa. Preschool ages 3-5. Limited Space—Registration Required. Miss Melissa will be digging in the sand—toiling in the garden—eating dirt—and farming worms on Saturdays at 11:00 am on June 15, June 22, June 29, and July 6. Register for one Saturday or all.
Summer Reading Registration Event
Mannington Public Library offers Summer Reading Programs for the whole family. Register for the program that fits best, June 10th. We’ll have special entertainment featuring “Joey Stepp Magic” here at 6:00 pm to kick things off. Joey is a magician, comedian, and a balloon artist.
RiverQuest Presents Rocks, Minerals, & Water
The good folks at RiverQuest will be once again be sharing their knowledge of rocks, minerals, and water at Fairview Public Library on June 19 in a special two-part program geared toward both juvenile and adult participants.
2-5 year-olds' Presentation - 11:00am
6-9 year-olds' Presentation - 1:30pm
Teens/Adults' Presentation - 3:00pm

Fairview Public Library's adult readers will select “Groundbreaking Reads” each week beginning on June 14.

Back by popular demand, the Cook-a-Book program at Fairview Public Library returns in June with “Cook up an Adventure!” On June 11, the program begins with “Indian Pow Wow”, which will be followed by “Archaeology” on June 18 and “Pirate Adventure” on June 25.
